Hoist Pulley:

The crown wheel is a fixed pulley which adjusts the direction of the steel wire rope motion at the top of the shaft frame. The purpose is to support the wire rope connecting the drum of the hoist and the lifting vessel, and guide the wire rope steering. There are three kinds of weather wheel, such as travelling weather wheel, fixed weather wheel in well, sinking well and fixed weather wheel in well.

Working principle of sky wheel:
